Here is a new "3D Viewer" application, I guess once again designed to work with files intended for 3D printing. Amazing that this is in consumer grade Windows when 3D printers are still an enterprise grade item and cost the money to prove it.

Windows Defender has been absorbed by the Modern UI virus as well...although apparently Microsoft is now calling them "UWP apps" now, whatever that is supposed to mean.

Apparently the photo preview application now has rudimentary drawing controls. That's just what you need, accidentally click on a picture with a drawing tool and ruin it forever.

In yet another sign of Microsoft trying to do something done better by a third party, there is now a "night light" blue light filter feature. Which would filter out 90% of the default UI considering how blue Windows 10 is, but never mind that.

It's apparently now also possible to take a screenshot of a region with the built-in tool. Wow, welcome to the advancement of the Snipping Tool that Windows has had for centuries now! |
