You are probably wondering what the heck this "Low End Radio" is. What, are you getting into pirate radio? Is it some new station around you?
No (well, maybe it qualifies), and no. "Low End Radio" is what I have decided to call my up and coming live broadcast activities, since I am doing this mostly as a no-expenses-paid endeavor. The only money I have into any equipment is the one camera (which I bought a LONG time ago and use for other purposes as well), an ethernet card, some hard drives for the streaming system, and a couple of cables and other doodads.
This live broadcast idea stems from watching other live broadcasts doing much the same thing that I plan to do, and of course, wanting to also do one myself since it looks like fun. And since we recently lost the best station on the dial around here, now seems as good a time as any. Who knows, maybe it will gain traction with people in the city? Yeah, I doubt it :P
