
Like every other Linux distro, “restricted drivers” are added when needed. Restricted drivers are closed-source drivers that have been locked away at the vendor’s choice.

As is normal these days, xscreensaver is included but is not fully built with the extra packages needed.

Finally, shutting down ZevenOS.
Conclusion: ZevenOS is a very good imitation of BeOS and Haiku. It is easy to tell that this is Linux, but for those that just want it for the UI ZevenOS is right for you. If you want the BeOS feel I would go with Haiku, even though Haiku is still in alpha. |
