NewDeal supports long file names, which are stored in a special database. NDO does not recognize Windows 9x long file names.

NewDeal includes a very Windows-like search feature as well, enabling you to search all drives, as well as specific paths on the home drive.

Should you not understand how to do something, NDO includes a basic help utility.

For web browsing purposes NewDeal uses Skipper.

NewDeal bundles with it NewCalc, NewWrite and NewDraw, a spreadsheet, word processor, and drawing program respectively.
