The default desktop of Mint 6 hasn't changed since previous versions, however Mint 6 is the last version to feature the "pinstripe" background on the taskbar and the default desktop background.

Everything else about this iteration is mostly the same, aside from a few updated applications bundled.

The screensavers are also completely the same.
