On the subject of menus, this is the K Menu. Basically it is nothing more than a slightly different iteration of the Windows Start menu.

NimbleX also includes a number of games. Hey wait a second...is that a Reversi clone?

Why the hell anyone actually thought this was a good idea is left for you to guess.
Konqueror is included by default with NimbleX as both the web browser and the file manager. It does an excellent job of both.
So why would you bundle a second browser?
As shown, Dillo is also included by default. Dillo is a lightweight web browser, which also does a good job at it's...job.
But to include both browsers by default, is a mistake. It takes up more space, and it provides a way to confuse users. "Ma, which one is the internet?"

So I was scratching my head, wondering what else the programmers decided to waste space with.
Then I see this appear. Just randomly, and out of nowhere.
Nobody likes popups like that.

This is the printer configuration page in the Control Center. Really it looks pretty normal to me, I don't remember why it required a screenshot. |
