
Ubuntu still has a number of background options.
Note that some screenshots have a colored gradient in them, which doesn't increase screenshot size but as a result the colors may appear wonky unless your display is set to 24+ bit color.

The GNOME about dialog. GNOME 2.30.0 is used by default, but I believe there is an update that is available in the update manager that brings this up to 2.30.2.

What would an OS be without games? Here are a few of the ones that are included by default.

There is definitely some work to do here, as the theme previews still display the window buttons on the right, even though they are now on the left.

If you have a graphics card fancy enough for it, you can enable extra themes which cause windows to wobble and bounce around.
Of course my ATI graphics chipset isn't "fancy enough" to do that apparently. |
