10.3 Dialogs
I’m only including this screenshot so I can say this:

Microsoft, especially lately, have littered dialog boxes with hyperlinks, which is incorrect as hyperlinks belong in documents, not dialog boxes.
Apple has done it right with buttons.

10.3 Help
Help now uses the Safari HTML engine.

10.3 Save
This screenshot shows the "Save" dialog.
Yes, it is possible to save documents to the desktop, but it seems as though there is less of an emphasis on doing that as there is on programs that do not create anything.
The only thing that the Finder can create right off the bat is a new folder.

In fact using Mac OS X is almost like using a stereo or a DVD player.

10.3 Stickies
Well the translucent stickies are interesting...

10.3 Terminal
Since it is based upon UNIX it has the terminal. Wait, no brushed metal look?

10.3 Shutdown
Shutting down MacOS, which it will automatically do after a certain period of time if you don’t click on anything.

Conclusion:
Compared to Mac OS 9 and previous OS 10.3 is a major leap forward in technology. The familiar Mac OS feel (with a touch-up) is now thrown on top of a multitasking-built operating core (BSD/NeXTSTEP), and it works much better than it did before.
