
This kinda demonstrates how important the text in an OS is.
I doubt that you would know that the dialog box was for the Flying Windows screensaver, or even what any of the controls did, unless you memorized the layouts or could read Chinese.

This font editor allows you to add new Chinese characters to the existing font set. Unfortunately any added characters would only be usable on that one machine.

Users can hit multiple keys on a QWERTY keyboard to generate a number of Chinese characters. There are several layouts for doing this, and this utility allows users to customize said layout.

Conclusion: Not sure why this was a completely new version. It's more akin to a language pack than it is a new version of Windows. |
