In Windows XP the media player now has to reinvent it's own UI, like every other media player out there. I have one question: why?

Another new thing with Windows: Remote Desktop. Shown here is the client version, which can be downloaded for previous versions of Windows. The server version is just a cut-down Windows Terminal Server that is only available on XP.

Windows XP of course includes the latest version of Idiot Exploiter, version 6. Fortunately of course it's possible to choose a better alternative, but with IE integrated into the shell still and with indiscriminate web-integrated cruft still pointing to IE being present how much of a choice is that, really? |
