Norton Desktop is highly customizable, right down to the menus.

Norton Desktop Utilities
A number of the bundled utilities.

Norton Desktop Screensavers
Norton Desktop even comes bundled with it’s own set of screensavers, presumably because Windows 3.0 did not have built-in screensavers.

Norton Desktop Minimized
It is possible to minimize the desktop and use programs on the regular Windows desktop.

Conclusion:
The Norton Desktop is one of the better alternate shells. It doesn't quite match up with Calmira, but it is still pretty good and comes bundled with a bunch of really useful utilities.
