Shown here are a few of the bundled "applets":

• Workspaces
• ProcessController, a sort-of stripped down task manager
• NetworkStatus
• Launchbox, an application launcher

Also shown is a simple “Find” application for finding files. Results are displayed in a Tracker window.

Some of the applets feature a wrench symbol that you can drag to the desktop to create a desktop instance of that applet.
This is called “replicants”, and was also in BeOS.

Haiku A1 includes the Bon Echo (Firefox 2) web browser.

A couple of the other applications bundled with Haiku. A TV streaming program, CD Player, text editor, and a media converter are shown here.
