Deskmate 3.69 Settings
The settings program got a makeover as well. The color pallette has changed, and the controls seem more aesthetically pleasing.

Pressing F1 on the keyboard pulls up a help box for the currently selected view.

Conclusion:
No technical difference, but Deskmate 3.69/3.05 can be historically regarded as the last release of Deskmate, and a departure from interfaces that have more in common with DOS as opposed to the Macintosh.
