It is possible to play any GNOME game in Element, note the lack of a close button but the presence of menus. Most if not all GTK+/GNOME programs are like this.

It is possible to add or configure launcher buttons in the “eBar” on the desktop.

Decibel allows you to play all kinds of music files, except for MP3s because those are copyrighted.

For playing videos Element includes the ever-popular VLC Media Player.

xbmc as it is called is a media program that can be set to load instead of the standard desktop. It’s goal is to provide a better overall user experience on the HTPC, and it does a good job except I could not get the mouse to do anything.

I find it highly amusing that the keyboard displayed is a Macintosh keyboard, and an outdated one at that.
