
This is the X11 window server included with A/UX, MacX. Again, I don't believe it installed correctly as I could not get any of the bundled X applications to run.

X11 preferences dialogs look slightly different from the Mac OS ones, but are mostly the same. Also note the use of the arrow keys to emulate additional mouse buttons and keys that the Apple keyboard doesn't have.

It is, of course, entirely possible to run X11 applications on remote X window servers that are accessible by the system.

The control panels are pretty much the same as the ones in System 7, but with some A/UX-specific tweaks (such as the virtual memory adjustment panel shown here).

There is also this graphical Users control panel...only it doesn't seem to actually work. |
