I tried installing VirtualBox, which tried to work...but it deadlocked the entire UI. Of course I am virtualizing this under VirtualBox, so it doesn't make sense to run VirtualBox here, and maybe that was my problem.

I managed to get a few of these as well. It's nice to have actual information and not just some text frowny face telling me something went wrong without much in the way of details.

Of course, why not just run the full Microsoft Office suite?
I can think of a thousand reasons not to, and Internet Exploder comprises most of them...the stupid ribbon comprises the rest, but Office 2003 as shown here doesn't have the dumb ribbon UI so at least it's somewhat tolerable.

ReactOS can run WinAmp! What else could you possibly need? :-P
