Speaking of bullshit, "Cortana" as it is called is still as useless as ever. Rumor has it that it cannot be disabled anymore, which is a rather dumb decision. I refuse to let my computer be used as a vehicle for promoting some Microsoft employee's personal agenda, and I highly doubt I am a member of the minority.

The User Account Control window has been massively dumbed-down for the drooling masses. Frankly, I fail to see the point, unless the idea was to convert it to a Metro-style dialog box.

With Windows 10, you can now have your user interface in two colors: white, or black. Or I guess it's grey. Whatever. Still only two choices, and note that it only applies to Metrofied applications, not the real desktop applications. Once again, reminds me of Linux. Windows 1.0 had infinite number of possible UI colors. How's THAT for over 30 years of development!

The Explorer has remained unchanged. Frankly, I give up on waiting for real desktop applications to make a comeback, as by the time they do it will be way too late.

It's now possible to pin applications to all virtual desktops. Welcome back to Linux from the year 1999. |
