Windows Update received a facelift. No technical improvements though.

It's now possible to change various update settings. Again, it should be possible to just turn all this crap off, but baby steps I suppose.

Windows 10 Creator Update Control Panel
The classic control panel still exists, and is FAR easier to use than the stupid Metro/Modern/UWP/crap one.

Windows 10 Creator Update ShutUp10
Here is by far and away the most useful Windows utility, ShutUp10, which disables all the dumb telemetry and Cortana garbage, among other things.

A program like this shouldn't need to exist, but yet it does. And even more telling might be the fact that it still does, AND Microsoft hasn't tried to sue these people into oblivion.

What is continually the best part of Windows 10.

Conclusion:
A few baby steps in the right direction, but overall Windows 10 is still a giant turd. I am not sure I give much hope to it ever improving.
