Search has now been replaced with this stupid IE window. Oh, and instead of Find on the Internet opening up the default browser like in Windows 98/the IE 4 shell, it now just opens up an IE window regardless of settings.

Media Player can now apparently be "skinned". Hopefully skinned alive cause it looks ugly! Thank god for the classic theme still being present.
I ran into a rather interesting glitch while trying to close it. I accidentally clicked just underneath the close button since my mouse got stuck on something, but somehow doing that managed to reboot the entire machine!

Speaking of instabilities, the way programs crash has changed slightly in ME. I guess that with the DOJ on their backs Microsoft didn't want to hear anything more about applications that had performed an "illegal operation and will be shut down".

And yes, I managed to get a bluescreen while using it. I don't even remember what I did, and I got one on more than one occasion but I only really paid attention once since I didn't care too much; I've seen those so many times now.

Windows ME now also includes the Movie Maker program. |
