Windows 11 Notifications
Windows 11 pushes a lot more "alerts" to the notification feed. Yes, some of it is advertising for various Microsoft products. I also noticed that the notification pane now also brings up the calendar, for some reason.

Windows 11 Taskbar icons
In a similar vein, certain taskbar icons now bring up massive groups of settings as well, which can make it more confusing and non-obvious to change the thing you wanted to change.

Windows 11 Widgets fail
Thought you were free from the Metro bullshit?
Not quite, although the UI failed to draw which is hilarious.

Windows 11 Widgets
Here is yet another dumb feature that requires you to use a Microsoft account. Except it doesn't. Anyway, it's called "Widgets".
This thing is basically a gateway into weather information, traffic information, and a bunch of "news" that I'd quite franly rather get away from.

Supposedly Microsoft allows third parties to write "widgets" now too. Lord help us all. Whatever happened to good old desktop applications on my DESKTOP?!?

Windows 11 Working Widgets
For posterity, here is a screenshot of "Widgets" on a computer that I am willing to give an internet connection (even if barely). As you can see, an innocuous looking icon displaying current conditions is just a gateway into mindless clickbait bullshit masquerading as "news".
