
Something else not present in the final release of Windows is this "Personal" sub-folder, which is presumably designed to hold user documents. Given Windows 95 is by default largely devoid of locations to store files, maybe removing it was ill-advised.

Each window has these things called "usability test options", which is a primitive version of the folder options controls.

Here is a very primitive control panel for file associations, which is located in the Cabinet Explorer.

There is a help system, and it has changed somewhat from Windows 3.1, but not too much.

Here is the task manager, which plays a much greater role in managing multiple open windows and programs than it did in the final release given there are no buttons on the taskbar yet. |
