
Here is the Recycle Bin, which is new to Chicago.

Most of these options are similar to the final release (albeit laid out differently), but I found the "Nuke files on delete" option to be quite intriguing, if only for the name (all it does is bypass the recycle bin, just like on Windows 3.1).

Here is the file search program, which appears to be mostly finished at this point.

A more different about dialog, which is more Windows NT-ish.

Shutting down Chicago, which again is pretty Windows NT-ish.
Conclusion: Obviously the final version of Windows 95 is quite a bit different from this early pre-release, which is to be expected. It's almost hard to recognize Windows 95 in this particular version! |
